Allpix Squared 2.4 Released

We are happy to announce a new stable feature release Allpix Squared, version 2.4 with a total of 259 commits added to the repository by five contributors since version 2.3.2. The release tarball can be downloaded from the repository:
https://gitlab.cern.ch/allpix-squared/allpix-squared/tags/v2.4.0
The new version is also available as docker image in the project’s docker registry, as read-to-use version on CVMFS and as binary release from the website.
Most notably, Allpix Squared was extended by two modules: DepositionGenerator and DepositionLaser. In the following, an overview over these modules as well as other important changes and new features is provided:

3rd Allpix Squared User Workshop

We are happy to announce that we will host a user workshop again this year to hear about your simulations and present the latest developments. Due to the ongoing pandemic situation and uncertain travel conditions, the workshop will be held online from the 9th to the 11th of May in the CET afternoons. The aim of this workshop is to bring the users and developers together to discuss interesting applications and new features.
